On Sunday, 40 photographers, videographers and editors arrived at the Poynter Institute for the Visual Edge 99 Workshop. At the end of the week, 40 multimedia storytellers left. They spent a week testing the latest digital cameras, learning to build print and Web pages and exploring the vast possibilities of a world in which still images, video, audio and animation are part of every storyteller's toolkit. They stretched their imaginations and their skills to produce the pages, sites and recordings presented here. photo
