It is the game of the aged - shuffleboard. While lawn bowling is more of a winter resident's game, the shuffling goes on all year long. It was the rage to hit the area in the 1920s. St. Petersburg Shuffleboard Club, the first and still the largest club in the world, is still standing. Complete with grandstands, the club draws considerably fewer players today. The players gather in the morning before the heat of the day.
